Hello and welcome, I’m David.
I have been playing and teaching hand percussion for 25 years and teaching online for more than 20.
Learning online has been a crucial part of my own journey — especially when I couldn’t find teachers for some of the instruments I fell in love with.
I focus on creating clear, efficient learning paths: the right exercises in the right order, and an understanding of rhythm that transfers across instruments.

Our Vision

Rhythm is everywhere. It surrounds us in nature and in the cities we live in. In the sound of ocean waves. In the conversations of birds in the forest. In the steady pumps of factories and the strange noises of a heater.

It’s in our footsteps, in raindrops falling on the ground, in cars passing on the street — and of course in our breath and our heartbeats.

Humans have been drumming for thousands of years. Rhythm is part of our nature, just like breathing or sleeping. Hand drums are a powerful way to express these rhythms that live inside all of us and bring them into the world.

But it’s not always easy to find a teacher for these instruments. Our mission is to bring together some of the world’s best drumming teachers and share the rich and beautiful world of percussion from around the globe directly with you.
